International Society for Molecular Electronics and BioComputing

Founded on 27 May, 1991, in Balatonszéplak, HUNGARY, upon the initiation of its first president, Géza Biczó

`ISMEBC is a non-profit international society which fosters the interdisciplinary study of molecular electronics, ionics and photonics and information processing in natural and artificial molecular and biomolecular systems. The Society promotes both fundamental and applied research.' (Art II of the Constitution of ISMEBC)
